AED available at Winschoten Marina

The Winschoten marina has an AED (defibrillator). It is located at the harbor office. This AED can save the lives of people suffering cardiac arrest. Its use involves three steps:
- Turn on
- Place electrodes
- After analysis by the device, whether or not to give a shock.
Always call 112 and ask for help from bystanders. Our staff has undergone AED training and can respond during opening hours with the AED available at the harbor office and initiate CPR. Outside of opening hours, an AED is freely accessible. Always call 112. In principle, anyone can use an AED if necessary to help a victim.
